I mentioned the upcoming election in the state, in which I live now for nearly twenty years. Like in many European countries, there’s a growing agreement with a right-wing party within the Saxon general public. In my opinion (and I am not alone with that), they obtain their acceptance from fear and hate, which they caused with black-hearted intent.
They seeded fear and hate in the hearts of some parts of the general public, what becomes obvious every time when you talk with some of them, but especially when they gang up. Every pre-election party sounds like a reminiscence to evil former times. The crowd got incited against every stranger, against everybody with another opinion. There is no hope in their eyes, no will for companionship. Just them against everybody else. Desolate minds.
How different are their opponents. A colorful community of parties, groups, initiatives. The grandmas against right-wing, LGBT-people and political parties walked together through Saxon’s capital Dresden. They played music, they sang, they got together as a sign to the world and the Saxon public: We are here, we are colorful, we are a lot, we are UNTEILBAR, impartible. They stood together and they hope that the populists will not win with hate against the love and the companionship of open-hearted people.
Let us hope together, thanks for reading. See you soon.
